Suddenly Win95 won't remember passwords!
InfoWorld says to run Win95 they recommend you have at least 12MB of RAM, but that doesn't solve the resource exhaustion problem that cripples Win95. They also recommend you don't run Win95 unless you are a very light home user. Also, remember Win95 doesn't pre-emptively multitask Win16 applications, OS/2 does.

As long as you can remember what all those key are you are supposed to be using to do these manipulations. Everyday I am at Windows 3.1, Win NT, Solaris/Openwindows, Windows95, OS/2, and Linux desktops. I don't want to remember those keys. Win95 is simple.

G'day, I'm helping a new internet user setup Win95 and when dialling up to their ISP the username is remembered but the password is not and has to be entered each time we login to the ISP. It is a long time since I used Win95 and I recall it being a bug, but for the life of me I can't remember the fix.

I remember Win95 on disks, and still have them in the closet. I never realized that the installation had ONLY 16-bit executables in it. Are you sure you are not confusing the terms of 16/32 bit with FAT32? I suppose, not mentally, but maybe in wording. I am assuming the 386 was the first pc with 32 bit data and

Some of the basic 16bit problems and solutions carry over into Win95/98. Remember Win95 HAD to give priority to 16bit technology because that's all that existed up to the release of Win95.
